Frequently asked

How do I cancel my subscription?

Reset is free in version 1.0 — there is no subscription to cancel. Future versions may include an optional paid tier.

The app crashes or freezes during a session.

  1. Force-quit Reset (swipe up from the home indicator and swipe the Reset card up).
  2. Reopen the app.
  3. If it still happens, restart your phone.
  4. If it still happens, please email us with your iPhone model and iOS version, plus a short description of what you were doing.

The audio cuts out or doesn't play.

Haptics aren't working.

Haptics require an iPhone with the Taptic Engine (iPhone 7 and later). They also turn off if "Haptics" is disabled in Settings → Sounds & Haptics on your iPhone, or if the phone is in Low Power Mode.

Does Reset work offline?

Yes. The exercises run fully offline. The optional anonymous feedback (👍/👎) submits when you have a connection.

Does Reset collect my data?

No personal data. No account. No device identifier. The only thing that leaves your phone is optional anonymous feedback you send by tapping 👍 or 👎. See the privacy policy for the full breakdown.

Is Reset a medical device?

No. Reset is a wellness utility. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition. If you are in distress, please reach out to a qualified mental health professional. In the US, you can dial or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.

I have a feature request.

How do I delete my data?

Delete the app. Everything is stored locally on your device, so removing the app removes all session history and settings. Anonymous feedback you've already submitted is not personally identifiable, so we can't look it up; it's deleted on a normal retention schedule.

Refunds.

v1.0 is free. For future paid versions: refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Open the App Store, tap your profile, then "Purchase History," find Reset, and tap "Report a Problem."
